Refund Policy

Effective Date: April 21, 2026

1. Free trial

If ShhSafe offers a free trial, you will not be charged during the trial period. If the trial converts into a paid subscription, billing begins after the trial ends unless you cancel first.

2. Subscription charges

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis.

Unless required by applicable law, subscription fees are generally non-refundable once charged, including for partial billing periods, unused time, or failure to cancel before renewal.

3. When we may issue refunds

We may issue a refund, in whole or in part, at our discretion in cases such as:

  • Duplicate charges
  • Accidental overbilling
  • Proven technical failure that made the paid service materially unusable
  • Other circumstances where a refund is required by law

Nothing in this policy limits mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel at any time to prevent future renewal charges. Cancellation does not normally create a prorated refund for the current billing period unless required by law or expressly approved by us.

5. How refunds are returned

If a refund is approved, it is generally returned to the original payment method. Processing time depends on your bank, card issuer, or payment provider.

6. How to request a refund

To request a refund, contact support@shhsafe.com and include:

  • The email address on your account
  • The date of the charge
  • The amount charged
  • The reason for the refund request

7. Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact us before filing a chargeback so we can review and try to resolve the issue quickly.
